Sorry for not reaching out to you any sooner. If you still have this question, it's not easy for me to answer honestly, I always took this behavior for granted and I assume this `isShowingAddNew` should become `false` again, once the view is dismissed.

If I'm not right, there's another way to implement this behavior: you can pass a `@Binding` variable in your modal view and change it to `false` when you'd like to dismiss it. Here is a good link on that: https://www.hackingwithswift.com/quick-start/swiftui/how-to-make-a-view-dismiss-itself

Speaking of the automatic keyboard behavior - yeah, it's a good news, I find it very convenient. I'll try to find some time to update the tutorial with this new feature. Thanks!
